Simple Payday Trail Mix
Prep time 5 minutes | Cook time 15 minutes | Serves 25
Ingredients:
11 oz classic candy corn
2 cups classic or lightly salted peanuts
1.5 cups fancy whole cashews
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
Add 1.5 cups cashews and 2 cups peanuts to your baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Salt as desired. We recommend using 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Bake nuts for 7-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching and encourage an even toasting.
Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, add candy corn and optional marshmallows. When cool, add nut mixture.
Serve immediately. Store your snack mix in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
