Mommy and Me Mug Workshop with Bradeen Creative

We are thrilled to host Lori Bradeen once again, this time with her newest offering, a mommy & me class! This class is perfect for parents and children ages 4+. Together, you will create your very own mugs. After the class, you'll each have a mug to take home and treasure together.

From Lori:

You will get to create your very own masterpiece! You will be provided with a professionally wheel-thrown mug that's still soft enough to be altered.

You'll learn how to make and attach a handle to your mug, followed by the exciting part - decorating it using an options of techniques offered. I will guide you (or let you do your own thing) while you unleash your inner artist to create a unique design that reflect you!

Once the workshop is over, I'll take care of the rest. I will dry your creation, fire it to bisque, glaze it with a clear glaze and fire it again in the glaze firing. This process takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks. Then your mug will be ready for you. You don't have to worry about any of the preparation or finishing. I've got that covered. You just show up, have fun and learn some pottery skills and techniques. In the end, you will have a functional piece of pottery.
